Nightlife security services

Door team

ID verification and fake detection, capacity counts, guest list and table reservations, dress code, refusing entry politely, managing the line and the sidewalk, and coordinating with promoters and hosts.

Floor security

Roving officers in the room watching for fights, harassment, drug activity, over-intoxication and theft; fast, low-drama removals; coordination with bartenders and managers.

VIP and table protection

Officers assigned to VIP sections and tables — controlling access, protecting guests and their belongings, coordinating with clients’ own protection agents.

De-escalation and removals

Officers trained to talk first and use the minimum force necessary, within Florida law and the venue’s policy, with incident reports written the same night.

Closing time and parking

Exit flow, sidewalk dispersal, rideshare and valet zone control, escorts for staff and cash, and a final lock-up walk.

Plain-clothes officers

For venues that want a lower profile or need to watch for internal theft and drug dealing.

Armed officers

Class G licensed armed officers for cash rooms, closing counts and venues with a specific threat, where venue policy allows.

Event and promoter support

Scalable teams for special nights, celebrity appearances, holiday weekends and festival after-parties.

How we set up venue security

  1. Walk-through with the owner or GM: layout, entrances, capacity, incident history, liquor license conditions, neighbors and police relationship.
  2. Post orders — door policy, ID procedure, use-of-force and removal policy, incident reporting, who calls whom.
  3. Team selection — officers matched to the venue’s style: suits for a lounge, black polos for a club, resort wear for a beach club.
  4. Operations — a lead on every shift, radios, incident reports the same night, weekly review with management.

Why venues choose FSO Guard

  • Licensed officers (Class D and Class G) from a licensed Florida security agency (Class B), insured as the state requires — certificates for landlords and liquor license compliance on request.
  • Reduced liability — trained de-escalation, documented incidents, no off-the-books doormen.
  • Officers who fit the room — presence without aggression.
  • Reliability on busy nights — staffed weekends, holidays, Art Week, Music Week and F1 weekend.
  • English, Spanish and Russian speaking officers for Miami’s international crowd.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide bouncers?

We provide licensed security officers who do what a good door team does — ID and capacity control, dress code, refusing entry politely, de-escalating and removing problem guests — but with the Florida Class D license, training, insurance and reporting that a 'bouncer' hired off the street does not have. In Florida, working security at a venue requires that license.

Why does licensing matter for a club?

Liability. If an unlicensed doorman injures a guest, the venue carries the full exposure and may be in violation of state law and its liquor license conditions. Licensed officers from an insured agency shift and reduce that risk, and their incident reports protect the venue when a claim is made.

Can your officers check IDs and spot fakes?

Yes. Officers are trained on Florida and out-of-state IDs, passports and common fakes, and on the venue's age and dress code policies. We coordinate with your liquor license compliance.

Do you cover pop-up parties and Miami Music Week events?

Yes. Door and floor teams for warehouse parties, rooftop events, beach club takeovers and Art Week and Music Week pop-ups, coordinated with the promoter and venue.

What about the parking lot and closing time?

Closing is when most incidents happen. Officers manage the exit flow, disperse the sidewalk, watch the rideshare and valet area, escort staff to cars and stay until the venue is locked.
