Surveillance & Infidelity Investigations in Miami

Surveillance & Infidelity Investigations in Miami

Discreet, Florida-legal surveillance by licensed investigators for infidelity and cheating spouse cases, child custody and cohabitation, insurance and workers' compensation claims and employee misconduct — with time-stamped video and court-ready reports across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

Not knowing is worse than knowing. Whether it is a spouse whose stories have stopped adding up, a custody dispute where a child’s safety depends on what happens at the other parent’s home, or an insurance claim that does not fit the injury, FSO Guard’s licensed private investigators conduct discreet, Florida-legal surveillance in Miami and South Florida and deliver the truth in a form that holds up in court.

Surveillance investigations we conduct

Infidelity and cheating spouse investigations

Discreet observation of a spouse or partner during the times and places you suspect — evenings, business trips, the gym, the office — documenting meetings, locations and companions with time-stamped video and photos. We help you decide where to focus so your budget goes where the truth is likely to appear, and we coordinate with your family law attorney when you have one.

Child custody and timesharing

Documentation of what actually happens during the other parent’s time: who is in the home, substance use, driving with the children, supervision, cohabitation with a new partner, exposure to dangerous people — evidence family courts take seriously.

Cohabitation and alimony

Evidence that a former spouse receiving alimony is living with a new partner in a supportive relationship, which can affect alimony under Florida law — overnight patterns, shared address indicators, financial commingling clues.

Insurance and workers’ compensation claims

Activity checks and surveillance of claimants for insurers, self-insured employers and defense attorneys — documenting physical activity, work and daily routines inconsistent with a claimed injury.

Employee misconduct

Surveillance of employees suspected of moonlighting on sick leave, working for a competitor, theft, substance use on the job, or misusing company vehicles and time — see corporate investigations.

Personal and family concerns

A teenager’s whereabouts and associates, an elderly parent’s caregiver, a nanny’s conduct, a new partner’s true situation.

Stalking and harassment documentation

Documentation of a stalker’s or harasser’s behavior for injunctions and police reports, often combined with protection.

How surveillance works

  1. Confidential consultation — what you suspect, what you already know, patterns and schedules, vehicles, addresses, photos of the subject, and what you need the evidence for.
  2. Plan and budget — which days and hours to cover, one or two investigators, vehicles and equipment, and a written estimate.
  3. Surveillance — unmarked vehicles, licensed investigators, video and photo documentation from public places, real-time updates when you want them.
  4. Report — a written timeline with time-stamped photos and video, delivered securely; investigator available for testimony.

What we will not do

Trespass, break into homes or vehicles, access phones, email or social media accounts, record private conversations without consent, place GPS trackers on vehicles the client does not own, impersonate law enforcement, or harass or confront the subject. These are crimes in Florida, they destroy your case, and any investigator who offers them is putting you at risk. Read more on lawful GPS tracking.

Why clients choose FSO Guard investigators

  • Licensed Florida investigators working for a licensed agency, insured as required by the state.
  • Discretion — unmarked vehicles, rotating personnel, no contact with the subject, strict confidentiality.
  • Court-ready evidence — proper chain of custody, time-stamps, testimony when needed.
  • Honest budgeting — we plan sessions around likely windows instead of billing endless hours.
  • English, Spanish and Russian speaking investigators.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it legal to have my spouse followed in Florida?

Yes, when done by a licensed investigator observing and recording in public places where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. Investigators may not trespass, enter private property, record private conversations without consent (Florida requires all-party consent for audio), hack phones or accounts, or place a GPS tracker on a vehicle you do not own. We work strictly within those lines; evidence gathered illegally is useless in court and exposes you to liability.

How much does surveillance cost?

Surveillance is billed hourly per investigator, plus mileage and expenses, usually with a minimum block of hours. Most infidelity cases take one to three surveillance sessions targeted around known patterns — an evening out, a business trip, a gym visit. We plan the sessions with you to spend your budget where the truth is most likely to appear. See our guide to private investigator costs in Florida.

Does Florida care about adultery in divorce?

Florida is a no-fault divorce state, so adultery does not have to be proven to divorce. But evidence of an affair can matter for alimony (if marital funds were spent on the affair), for custody and timesharing (who the children are exposed to), and for settlement negotiations. Discuss your situation with your attorney; we often work directly with family law attorneys.

Will my spouse know they are being watched?

Discretion is the job. Investigators use unmarked vehicles, rotate personnel and equipment and keep distance; we never contact the subject. In rare cases a subject is exceptionally alert and we will tell you if continuing is unwise.

What do I receive at the end?

A written report with a timeline of observations, time-stamped and geotagged photos and video, and an investigator prepared to testify if the case goes to court. Reports are delivered securely and never shared with anyone but you and, at your direction, your attorney.
