A great night in Miami depends on a door team that knows who to let in and how to say no, and a floor team that spots trouble two minutes before it starts. FSO Guard provides licensed nightclub, bar and lounge security in Miami — door and floor teams, ID and capacity control, VIP table protection, de-escalation and closing-time coverage for clubs, lounges, bars, beach clubs and pop-up parties from South Beach to Wynwood, Brickell, Downtown and Fort Lauderdale.

Nightlife security services
Door team
ID verification and fake detection, capacity counts, guest list and table reservations, dress code, refusing entry politely, managing the line and the sidewalk, and coordinating with promoters and hosts.
Floor security
Roving officers in the room watching for fights, harassment, drug activity, over-intoxication and theft; fast, low-drama removals; coordination with bartenders and managers.
VIP and table protection
Officers assigned to VIP sections and tables, controlling access, protecting guests and their belongings, coordinating with clients’ own protection agents.
De-escalation and removals
Officers trained to talk first and use the minimum force necessary, within Florida law and the venue’s policy, with incident reports written the same night.
Closing time and parking
Exit flow, sidewalk dispersal, rideshare and valet zone control, escorts for staff and cash, and a final lock-up walk.
Plain-clothes officers
For venues that want a lower profile or need to watch for internal theft and drug dealing.
Armed officers
Class G licensed armed officers for cash rooms, closing counts and venues with a specific threat, where venue policy allows.
Event and promoter support
Scalable teams for special nights, celebrity appearances, holiday weekends and festival after-parties.
How we set up venue security
- Walk-through with the owner or GM: layout, entrances, capacity, incident history, liquor license conditions, neighbors and police relationship.
- Post orders: door policy, ID procedure, use-of-force and removal policy, incident reporting, who calls whom.
- Team selection. Officers matched to the venue’s style: suits for a lounge, black polos for a club, resort wear for a beach club.
- Operations: a lead on every shift, radios, incident reports the same night, weekly review with management.
Bouncers vs. licensed security officers
Miami venues often search for “bouncers for hire” — and then discover the difference the first time something goes wrong. A bouncer is a job title; a security officer is a Florida license. Under state law, anyone providing security services for a venue must hold a Class D license (Class G if armed) and work for a licensed Class B agency with liability insurance. That matters when a guest is injured, an ID check is disputed, or a use-of-force incident ends up in front of your liquor license board. FSO Guard door staff are licensed officers trained in de-escalation, ID verification and lawful ejection; they can still hold the rope and work a VIP list, but the venue is protected contractually as well as physically. If you are comparing a bouncer service and a security company, ask both for their agency license number and certificate of insurance.
Why venues choose FSO Guard
- Licensed officers (Class D and Class G) from a licensed Florida security agency (Class B), insured as the state requires. Certificates for landlords and liquor license compliance on request.
- Reduced liability: trained de-escalation, documented incidents, no off-the-books doormen.
- Officers who fit the room: presence without aggression.
- Reliability on busy nights: staffed weekends, holidays, Art Week, Music Week and F1 weekend.
- English, Spanish and Russian speaking officers for Miami’s international crowd.
