Miami hotels run on reputation — a review about a fight in the lobby, a theft from a room or a stranger on the pool deck costs more than any security post ever will. But hotels also have to stay warm: guests must feel welcomed, not policed. FSO Guard provides hotel security guards and hospitality security in Miami who fit a luxury brand, with front-of-house officers in suits or your uniform, pool and beach coverage, overnight lobby and floor posts, event and banquet security, VIP guest protection and back-of-house loss prevention for hotels, resorts, boutique properties and short-term rental buildings from South Beach to Sunny Isles and Fort Lauderdale.
Properties we serve
- Luxury and lifestyle hotels in South Beach, Mid-Beach, Bal Harbour and Surfside.
- Business hotels and conference properties in Brickell, Downtown, Doral and near the airport.
- Beach resorts in Sunny Isles, Hollywood Beach and Fort Lauderdale Beach with pool decks, beach clubs and cabanas.
- Boutique and independent hotels with a small night team and no in-house security director.
- Condo-hotels and short-term rental buildings where owners, long-term residents and vacation guests share one lobby.
- Hotels with nightclubs, rooftop bars and pool parties that need venue-grade security inside a hospitality environment.
- Hostels and extended-stay properties with high turnover and after-hours traffic.

Hotel security services
Lobby and front-of-house
A hospitality security officer at the entrance or lobby: greets guests, controls access to elevators and guest floors, handles walk-ins, solicitors and trespassers, backs up the front desk in disputes and watches luggage and valuables. Suit, blazer or your uniform; trained on your brand standards.
Pool, beach and amenities
Coverage of pool decks, beach clubs, cabanas, gyms and spas: guest-only enforcement, wristband and key checks, unattended belongings, intoxicated guests, capacity and noise on party days, and coordination with lifeguards and F&B staff.
Overnight security
Overnight officers on the lobby and floors: after-hours entry control, noise complaints, unregistered visitors, intoxicated guests, trespassers, human trafficking indicators, garage and pool deck rounds and support for the night manager. The hours with the most incidents and the fewest staff.
Events, weddings and banquets
Ballrooms, rooftop events, weddings, conferences, pool parties and brand activations with our event security team: guest list and credential checks, crowd flow, load-in and vendor control, alcohol-related incidents and VIP arrivals.
VIP guest protection
Discreet protection for celebrities, executives, athletes and public figures staying at the property, including arrival and departure, floor control, fan and paparazzi management, coordinated with the guest’s own team and our VIP security unit.
Loss prevention and back-of-house
Employee entrance control, loading dock and receiving, housekeeping and minibar shrink, liquor storage, laundry and asset theft; internal theft investigated by our licensed corporate investigators, prevented by background checks on new hires.
Short-term rental buildings
Lobby and overnight officers who verify guests against the building’s registration, enforce guest limits and quiet hours, stop party rentals and keep enforcement records for the association or management company.
Emergency and hurricane support
Lockdown and guest safety support during storms, power outages and evacuations; fire watch when sprinklers or alarms are down during renovation; same-day officers after an incident or a vendor no-show.
Parking, valet and perimeter
Garage and surface lot patrols, valet area control, response to car break-ins, taxi and rideshare queue management and perimeter checks on the beach and street sides.

How we set up hotel security
- Site survey with your GM or director of security: entrances, lobby flow, elevator and floor access, pool and beach, back-of-house, garage, event spaces, incident history, seasonal peaks and brand standards.
- Post orders written for hospitality: how officers greet and address guests, dress code, escalation path through the front desk and night manager, alcohol and noise procedures, trespass and trafficking indicators, event protocols, report format.
- Officer selection and training. Officers chosen for presentation, manners and languages, including English, Spanish, Russian and others on request, are trained on your brand standards and property layout before the first shift. You meet them first.
- Launch and supervision. A supervisor works the opening shifts and returns unannounced; monthly review with your management team.
- Seasonal scaling. Additional officers for Art Basel, spring break, Miami Music Week, Memorial Day weekend, F1 week and the winter season, planned in advance under the same post orders.

Why hotels choose FSO Guard
- Licensed and insured. Florida security agency license B3100530 (Class B) and private investigative agency license A 1000095 (Class A). Every officer holds a Class D license; armed officers hold Class G.
- Hospitality first. Officers selected for presentation and manners and trained on your brand standards. Guests see a host, not a guard.
- Multilingual. English, Spanish and Russian officers for an international guest mix; other languages on request.
- Nightlife and events under one roof. The same company covers your lobby, your rooftop party and your ballroom wedding, with the same supervisor.
- Investigations in-house. Room theft, employee theft and guest incidents investigated by licensed investigators of the same company.
- Flexible and fast. Month-to-month agreements, seasonal scaling and same-day coverage after an incident or a vendor no-show.
Hotel security cost
Pricing depends on the number of posts (lobby, pool and beach, overnight floors, garage, events), hours, season and whether officers are armed. A single overnight lobby officer is the most common starting point for boutique properties; larger resorts run a lobby post, seasonal pool and beach coverage and a roving overnight officer. After the survey you receive a written quote with a flat hourly rate per officer, no hidden fees, a month-to-month agreement and a four-hour minimum per shift.
