A school security plan must work during ordinary routines as well as unusual events. FSO Guard helps campuses manage visitors, arrivals, dismissal and after-hours access. We provide armed or unarmed posts for private schools, faith-based schools, early learning centers, colleges and youth programs in South Florida.

School security services
Entrance and visitor management
During the school day, officers help maintain the approved entry route. They check visitors, issue badges and coordinate deliveries under school rules. Exceptions go to the designated staff contact.
Arrival and dismissal
Arrival and dismissal plans cover vehicle flow, verified pickups and perimeter watch. Officers coordinate with school staff and crossing guards.
Campus patrols
Patrols check doors, gates, play areas, fields and parking. Officers respond to staff requests and alarms under the campus plan.
Armed and unarmed officers
Schools may choose Armed Class G officers for an entrance post and unarmed Class D officers for patrols, dismissal or events. Officers learn the school’s lockdown, evacuation and reunification procedures and join staff drills.
Events and athletics
event security supports graduations, performances, fundraisers and athletics. Posts can cover crowds, parking and restricted areas.
After-hours and weekend coverage
Overnight patrols check for damage and unauthorized access. Weekend posts can support services and community events held on campus.
Threat assessment support and investigations
Administrators may need help documenting a threat, disputed pickup or suspected theft. Licensed investigators can assist when further fact-finding is appropriate.
Staff protection
Officers during difficult parent meetings, terminations and restraining-order situations.
How we set up school security
- Assess the campus. Review entrances, schedules, pickup flow, events and current concerns with school leaders.
- Write the plan. Set post hours, visitor checks, dismissal duties and emergency roles. Define communication with staff and police.
- Prepare the team. Select officers suited to working around children. Brief them on school policies and maintain a consistent roster.
- Review performance. Use supervisor visits, daily records and incident reports. Revisit the plan each semester and after drills.
Why schools choose FSO Guard
- Officers parents trust: screened, trained, consistent faces at the gate.
- Licensed Florida security agency (Class B), officers with Class D and Class G licenses, insurance as required by the state; certificates for the school and its insurer on request.
- Clear roles: we complement, and do not replace, school district police, the Guardian program and the school’s own staff.
- English, Spanish and Russian speaking officers for international school communities.
- One provider for daily posts, events, after-hours patrols and investigations.
