Cyber & OSINT Investigations in Miami: Online Harassment, Fake Profiles, Data Leaks and Digital Evidence

Most of what happens to people and companies today leaves a digital trail, and most of it is public if you know where and how to look. FSO Guard's investigators combine open-source intelligence, lawful technical analysis and old-fashioned field work to identify who is behind online conduct and preserve evidence that stands up.

An online problem can spread faster than its source becomes clear. A false profile, a threatening message or a leaked document may leave only a few useful clues. FSO Guard helps preserve those clues and assess what they actually show.

Our cyber and OSINT investigations serve Miami and South Florida. OSINT means open-source intelligence: research using information available through lawful sources. We connect digital leads, verify them and explain the limits of the findings.

What we investigate

  • Harassment and threats. We document accounts, messages and patterns that may help identify a source. See blackmail, extortion and harassment investigations for related support.
  • Impersonation. We examine fake profiles, brand accounts and false recruiting or customer-service pages.
  • Online fraud. We assess links between suspect sites, seller accounts and people. This work can support fraud investigations.
  • Data exposure. We examine where material appeared and what can be established about its spread or possible source.
  • Account incidents. We review information the client is authorized to provide about access, activity and possible misuse.
  • Digital due diligence. We compare a person’s or company’s claims with their available online record. This can extend a background check.
  • Locating people: witnesses, debtors and missing contacts through open-source analysis combined with licensed skip tracing.
  • Evidence preservation. Posts, pages, messages and videos are captured with source details, timestamps and hashes where appropriate.

How we work

  1. Set the question. Identify what happened, what needs to be established and which material may disappear.
  2. Preserve current evidence. Capture the relevant material and its available metadata before it changes.
  3. Compare clues. Usernames, images, domains, records and time patterns can suggest links. A shared detail alone is not proof of identity.
  4. Verify leads. We compare online findings with records and field work where appropriate. Unconfirmed matches remain clearly labeled.
  5. Identify gaps. Your attorney may need legal process to seek records that a platform does not make public.
  6. Explain the result. The report includes sources, screenshots, a timeline and confidence levels. It separates confirmed facts from possible links.

Boundaries we keep

We do not access accounts or devices without authorization, intercept communications or buy stolen data. Sources include public information, client-provided material and authorized database research. Each inquiry has a documented lawful purpose.

Who hires us

Clients include families, business leaders, attorneys and companies facing online threats or disputed conduct. Investigators work in English, Spanish and Russian when research crosses languages.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you find out who is behind an anonymous account?

Frequently. We analyze the account's history, language, timing, connections, images and metadata; correlate it with people who have motive, access and opportunity; and, where needed, coordinate with your attorney to subpoena platform and provider records that we cannot obtain ourselves. We never hack accounts. Evidence obtained unlawfully is inadmissible and exposes you to liability.

What is OSINT?

Open-source intelligence: the disciplined collection and analysis of publicly available information, including social media, public records, corporate filings, domain registrations, breach data, images, maps and archived web pages. Done properly, it answers most identity, background and relationship questions without touching anything private.

Is this the same as a cybersecurity audit or forensics?

No. Digital forensics examines devices under chain of custody; cybersecurity firms harden networks. We investigate people and events: who did it, when, how they are connected and what evidence exists. Where a device examination is needed we work with certified forensic examiners, and we help preserve evidence so their work is not compromised.

Can you remove content about me from the internet?

We document and identify; removal is a legal and platform process. We prepare the evidence packages for platform reports, DMCA and non-consensual image procedures, and for your attorney to pursue court orders when platforms do not act. See our blackmail and harassment page for that workflow.

Do you help businesses with insider leaks?

Yes, identifying who leaked confidential information, documents or images through metadata, distribution patterns, access analysis with your IT team, and lawful investigation of suspects, coordinated with counsel and HR.
