Cyber & OSINT Investigations in Miami: Online Harassment, Fake Profiles, Data Leaks and Digital Evidence

Cyber & OSINT Investigations in Miami: Online Harassment, Fake Profiles, Data Leaks and Digital Evidence

Most of what happens to people and companies today leaves a digital trail — and most of it is public if you know where and how to look. FSO Guard's investigators combine open-source intelligence, lawful technical analysis and old-fashioned field work to identify who is behind online conduct and preserve evidence that stands up.

An anonymous account posting about your family. A fake profile using your company’s name to sell things that do not exist. Confidential documents appearing where they should not. A new business partner whose online history does not match his story. FSO Guard provides cyber and OSINT investigations in Miami and South Florida — identifying people and connections behind online conduct, documenting digital evidence properly, and working within the law so the findings are usable.

What we investigate

  • Anonymous harassment, threats and defamation — identifying the person behind accounts, burner numbers and emails; documenting the conduct for police reports and injunctions. Companion to our blackmail, extortion and harassment investigations.
  • Fake profiles and impersonation — of individuals, executives and brands; catfishing; fake customer-service and recruiting accounts.
  • Online scams — identifying the operators behind fraudulent websites, marketplaces and investment platforms, in coordination with our fraud investigations.
  • Insider leaks and data exposure — who leaked documents, images or information; where company data appears on the open and dark web; what was exposed in a breach.
  • Account compromise — how an email, social or financial account was taken over, what was accessed, who benefited.
  • Digital due diligence — the real online footprint of a business partner, executive candidate, tenant or counterparty, beyond a standard background check.
  • Locating people — witnesses, debtors and missing contacts through open-source analysis combined with licensed skip tracing.
  • Digital evidence preservation — forensically sound capture of posts, profiles, messages, websites and videos with hashes and timestamps before they are deleted.

How we work

  1. Define the question. Who is behind this? Is this person who they claim? Where did this leak come from? What evidence exists and what is at risk of disappearing?
  2. Preserve first. Capture what exists now with metadata and hashes.
  3. Collect and correlate. Usernames, images, writing style, time patterns, connections, domains, phone numbers, emails, breach records, public filings, archived pages, geolocation of images.
  4. Verify in the real world. Digital leads are confirmed through records, field work and, where appropriate, lawful surveillance — a name from the internet is a hypothesis until it is verified.
  5. Legal process where needed. Through your attorney, subpoenas to platforms and providers for subscriber and access records that close the last gap.
  6. Report. Clear findings with sources, screenshots, timelines and confidence levels — written so a judge, a prosecutor or a board can follow it.

Boundaries we keep

We do not access accounts, devices or systems without authorization, do not intercept communications, do not pretext providers and do not buy stolen data. We use publicly available information, licensed investigator databases with a documented permissible purpose, information the client is entitled to, and legal process. Our clients need evidence that survives court and does not create a second problem.

Who hires us

Individuals and families dealing with harassment or impersonation; executives and public figures; attorneys building defamation, harassment, custody or fraud cases; businesses investigating leaks, fake accounts and online fraud; HR and compliance teams. Investigators work in English, Spanish and Russian — useful when the trail crosses languages and borders, which it usually does.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you find out who is behind an anonymous account?

Frequently. We analyze the account's history, language, timing, connections, images and metadata; correlate it with people who have motive, access and opportunity; and, where needed, coordinate with your attorney to subpoena platform and provider records that we cannot obtain ourselves. We never hack accounts — evidence obtained unlawfully is inadmissible and exposes you to liability.

What is OSINT?

Open-source intelligence: the disciplined collection and analysis of publicly available information — social media, public records, corporate filings, domain registrations, breach data, images, maps and archived web pages. Done properly, it answers most identity, background and relationship questions without touching anything private.

Is this the same as a cybersecurity audit or forensics?

No. Digital forensics examines devices under chain of custody; cybersecurity firms harden networks. We investigate people and events: who did it, when, how they are connected and what evidence exists. Where a device examination is needed we work with certified forensic examiners, and we help preserve evidence so their work is not compromised.

Can you remove content about me from the internet?

We document and identify; removal is a legal and platform process. We prepare the evidence packages for platform reports, DMCA and non-consensual image procedures, and for your attorney to pursue court orders when platforms do not act. See our blackmail and harassment page for that workflow.

Do you help businesses with insider leaks?

Yes — identifying who leaked confidential information, documents or images through metadata, distribution patterns, access analysis with your IT team and lawful investigation of suspects, coordinated with counsel and HR.
